The entrance tickets to the archeological sites, museums and monuments to be visited are generally NOT included in our tours.

For your convenience we provide you on this page with a list of sites included in our tours with information on times and costs and on the methods of purchase. For each of these you will also find the link to the official sites: we recommend that you always consult them, too, for greater security and for any updates still not registered, urgent communications or temporary variations.

We advise you always to refer to the official sites for the purchase of tickets and not to rely on services of third parties if not absolutely reliable.

For those not in possession of or wishing to buy the Roma Pass Card we have selected the sites included in the circuit and any useful suggestions concerning the card. Colosseum, Forum Romanum and Palatine  

Tours: Colosseum, Roman Forums and Palatine Hill ; A full day of Rome and the Vatican.

Times: opens at 8.30 every day. The closing times vary according to the season.

Closing days: 1st January, 1st May and 25th December

Where and how to buy the ticket: online on the official site. The ticket purchased online avoids having to queue. Individual bookings are allowed for up to 12 persons. The tickets are valid for 2 consecutive days, at any time and date within the current year. For groups of up to 50 persons a day and a fixed time are booked. Online the cost is only 28,00 € (equivalent to the booking fees for 14 persons); the tickets, and the booking fees if the group is composed of more than 14 persons, must be paid for on the same day at the ticket office of the Colosseum.  

On the first Sunday of the month the visit is free and it is not possible to book online.

Useful advice: Large groups are advised to book well in advance.

Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel  

Tours: Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter’s Cathedral A day visit to Rome and the Vatican

Times: from 9.00 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last entrance at 4 p.m. – exit half an hour before closing)

Closing days: Sunday and religious holidays (consult the site for further information). Museums are open and free on the last Sunday of the month unless this coincides with religious holidays .

Ticket Prices: Full 16,00€ Reduced: 8,00 € (those between the ages of 6 and 18 and students under 25 years of age) Free for children up to 6 years of age.

+ 4,00 € per person for the booking fee.

Where and how to buy the ticket: online on the official site. A maximum of 10 tickets at a time can be purchased from 60 days before the date of the visit and they are valid only for the day booked.

On the last Sunday of the month the visit is free and it is not possible to book online.

Useful advice: Given the large number of visitors it advisable to book well in advance.

Borghese Gallery

Tour: Borghese Gallery and its gardens

Times: from 8.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.(access every two hours from 8.30 a.m.)

Closing days: every Monday, 1st January and 25th December

Ticket Prices: Full 9,00€ Reduced: 4,50 € (EU citizens between ages of 18 and 25, students and tenured teachers) Free for those under the age of 18 (for other categories for whom it is free consult the site).

+ 2,00 € per person for the booking fee.

The site is included in the Roma Pass circuit, but booking is in any case obligatory.

Where and how to buy the ticket: online on the official site. It is possible to purchase online a maximum of 10 tickets for one particular day and one particular shift, that give the right to jump the queue. For groups of more than 10 persons send an email to info@ticketeria.it or call the number: +39 06 32810.

On the first Sunday of the month the visit is free and it is not possible to book online.

Useful advice: The visit to the Borghese Gallery consists of shifts of 2 hours (with obligatory exit at the end of the shift) for a maximum of 360 persons. It is advisable to book at least one month before the visit.

Ostia Antica
